Owners are very respectable, high authority figures within HIA, those who are owners are trusted individuals who ensure that we as an agency are running at our highest possible level, and are continually meeting our business aims and the standards we have set out as an agency.
In order to maintain the daily running of HIA, here are a few things you should AVOID:
You MUST not abuse your power to go in favor or against an individual.
You MUST not go above or against the code of conduct.
You MUST not act unprofessional or in a way deemed inappropriate towards ANY individuals including fellow HIA staff members.
Rules to Follow as an Elective As an elective, you will be responsible for following all the rules - including elective rules - within the Code of Conduct. Ignorance is not a plausible excuse for the infraction of rules as an elective.
The following rules must be followed at all times:
Having a way of verifying your online presence as base, which shall include, but is not limited to portal logs and Slack activity. Time since last login is not recognized as being present at base. Without logs, or any other kind of proof that you've been online, and/or been in base, you will be in danger of being demoted. If there are times where you do not have the opportunity to be sufficient time online, you should apply for a LOA.
Be professional in both clothing, and the way you act.
You must treat all staff (including standard ranks) with the utmost respect.
Monitor the section of HIA you have been assigned to and act as a mentor if required.
Follow all rules HIA obliges you to follow (Code of Conduct, etc).
Keep friend requests turned on in order to be able to be reached by everyone.
Requirements as an Owner Owners must earn a minimum amount of points monthly by fulfilling the following tasks:
Failure to complete the quota will be STRIKED. To remove a strike, they are required to complete the elective duties for 2 months consecutively.
Monthly Quota The Elective Quota will be tracked from the 1st of the month up until the last day of the month at 11:59PM UK Time. You are required to meet a set Quota to help track your activity or lack thereof around base.
Owners are encouraged to complete all of the requirements that apply to them. However, it is mandatory to complete 3/6 of the requirements prior to the month ending.
In the month of December, owners only need to satisfy 2 requirements. The requirement options are as following:
* Owners are allowed to double up on items. . They are not allowed to complete any of these duties while they're on LOA. If they are caught doing items such as badge removals, etc. They risk being marked inactive.
Elective Mentor/Mentee program As a member of the Ownership Division, it is your duty to guide 3iC's, 4iC's and 5iC's through their Elective journey. You are to keep in contact with your allocated 3iC/4iC/5iC and make sure they are active and have:
Done their Elective quota (if not on LOA for 16+ days that month)
Completed their monthly audit
A positive attitude and possess remodel qualities, if their behaviour is deemed "unacceptable" you should help them change for the better.
The Ownership Division is in charge of forwarding any feedback or suggestions that had been suggested by their mentee's to Chief of Staff for them to then draw up proposals and have the feedback heard. Owners must mark off the activity and behaviour of their mentee every month.
Available Grades: A*, A, B, C, D, D ('F' stands for fail - very inactive with poor behaviour)
NOTE: Please contact each elective division slack chat about monthly audits as well as the submission date as a reminder, each elective must be informed at the start of each month and throughout, please answer any questions if needed.

The Trial Owner is responsible for summarising the audits written by Trial EC and Trial FC, putting emphasis on the major opportunities. Host and form agenda for General Meeting. As well as reviewing and making necessary changes to all presenter’s scripts prior to general meeting.
Co-Owner The main priority of the Co-Owner is to act as a source of assistance to all HIA members, ensuring they feel welcome as part of our family. The Co-Owner is to set an example of high maturity to influence lower ranks to follow in their steps.
Acting Owner The HIA acting owner is responsible for the oversight of all departments, and to ensure that everything is operating as intended. As well as assisting each month with elective audits.
Joint Owner The HIA joint owner has the responsibility of overseeing all departments within HIA, and to ensure that the daily operations of our agency are as planned. As well as assisting their mentee with their monthly audits.
Owner The HIA owner is responsible for overseeing the main key departments of HIA and making sure everything's running smoothly. The owner is also in charge of grading audits as well as assisting.
Executive Owner & Co-Executive Owner The HIA Executive Owner is responsible for the oversight of all departments, and making sure that everything in the HIA is moving as planned (such as assisting each respective their mentee's with their monthly audits.)
Chief Executive Owner The Chief Executive Owner has the main responsibility for all of HIA’s staff members. They are to clearly recognize any problems HIA are facing, and identify multiple possible solutions to the issue in hand. The Chief Executive Owner is representative in any final decision making when directorate members are unavailable.
