Remember: It's your job to spread the love at HIA and promote hard working FTF, FTS and FTT members!
This promotion guide is in regards to HR+ Promoting.
Thanks to PereFalcon for the image (and the flower, of course!)
When do I have the ability to promote other members?
You will be able to promote other members when you reach High Rank.
Who am I allowed to promote?
You can promote any hard working member as long as they are within your current promotion limit. You can promote up to the first rank of your last division. Example: You (HR) - Limit (Trainer I)
How do I know who deserves to be promoted?
Firstly, you need to make sure that they are working hard and also doing their job properly. Don't just promote people for no reason. You also need to make sure that they have fulfilled the time limit between promotions before promoting them (ie: 1 hour for Trainer). Never promote anyone that has just entered HQ or has less than 30 minutes online time.
REMEMBER: You must have a online time of 30 minutes online as well before you may promote anyone!
What do I need to do before I promote someone?
Before promoting a member, you should check the Employee Promotion logs in the HIA portal to see if that member is eligible for a promotion. You should also check the logs and their motto to make sure the person isn't self-promoting. Please make sure that the person you are about to promote has at least 30 minutes of online time. You must also have an online time of at least 30 minutes yourself, in order to be able to promote a member. Disciplinary actions might occur if you are found promoting people before time in either case. If the above conditions are met, you may continue your promotion. If you are not using the Automatic Promotion button, please refer to the rank list to make sure that you are giving the correct rank to the member.
Do - Agent II Don’t - [HIA] Agent II
REMEMBER: You cannot promote someone if they still have your tag from when you last promoted them.
What do I do after I promote someone?
You MUST log the promotion in the HIA portal by using the “Add Employee Promotion” button in the “Employee Promotions” tab. Make sure you type their username correctly. You may also use the automatic promotion button on portal, found right beside the name of every employee, to log their promotion. Don’t forget to AE the person once you are done promoting them. If you choose to manually promote someone, make sure you don’t add anything unnecessary to the promotion log. For instance, on “Old Rank” or “New Rank”, avoid adding [HIA] or your promotion tag to the log. Make sure, as well, that you are not promoting the person to a fictitious or nonexistent rank (i.e. Transfer Supervisor IV). Double check the rank list whenever you are promoting someone, to properly assign them the correct promotional rank. If you have promoted a person to a new division, tell them to add [AB] to their motto and to request for a Badge Admin to accept the person’s badge.
What is the HIA portal and where do I get it?
The HIA portal is where all training, promotion, demotions, strikes, firing, transfers and sold ranks are logged. To get it, click here and request membership. Use your Habbo username as your portal username and enter your email, and create a password. You will receive a confirmation email once your portal account has been accepted.
I am someone's PA. Can I use his/her tag?
Yes, you are allowed to use you boss’ tag, but only when promoting on behalf of your boss. He or she must also approve the promotion before you step forward to promote someone.
What is my promotion limit when using my boss’ tag?
Your promotion limit is equivalent to that of your boss’ current promotion limit when using his or her tag.
REMEMBER: Your boss must be present in the HQ, and you must use your boss’ tag instead of your own when promoting on their behalf.
Who logs the promotion?
If you’ve promoted on behalf of your boss, you may log the promotion. If using the Automatic Promotion button, you will have to edit the log after it has been posted to include in the comments, “Promoted on behalf of (Boss’ username). If manually creating the promotion log, just add “Promoted on behalf of (Boss’ username)” to the “Additional Comments” section before posting the log.
